Walter is eighty-one and very much alive. He recorded this himself, for grandchildren who are still too young to ask the right questions. Childhood on a wheat farm, two years in the service, forty-one years as an electrician, and the afternoon in 1966 he met Ruth at a church supper. This page is a demonstration of a living life story. Walter is fictional, created so people can see what recording their own story looks like.
