Robert's Auto Repair

Family-owned since 1987 — “Fix it right, or don't charge for it.”

Our story

Robert learned engines in the Army, came home, and rented a single bay with a hand-painted sign. He believed a repair shop should feel like a neighbor's garage — coffee on, prices straight, and your keys handed back with an explanation of exactly what was done and why.

Thirty-seven years later, his daughter Maria runs the counter and his grandson Danny is under the lifts. The sign has been repainted twice. The promise hasn't changed once.

This page is what your customers see when they scan the QR plaque at the counter — the people, the history, and the reason to come back.

The road so far

  1. 1987

    One bay, one toolbox

Robert Kowalski opened the shop with a single lift and a promise: fix it right, or don't charge for it.

  2. 1996

    The second generation

His daughter Maria started turning wrenches summers at fourteen. She runs the front counter today.

  3. 2011

    Three bays, same promise

The shop expanded, but every estimate is still explained in plain English before a bolt is turned.

  4. Today

    37 years of neighbors

Most customers arrived as referrals from other customers. That's the whole marketing budget.

This page lives on a plaque

A weatherproof, engraved QR plaque sits at the counter, in the waiting room, or on the front door. Customers scan it while they wait and meet the family behind the business — turning a transaction into a relationship. The destination never changes, so the plaque never needs replacing.
